Sin, Forgiveness, and Confession
We are all human, but we are all part of The All.
Let's start with an easy concept.
Sin does not exist. There is no sin. Sin is a made up way to make people feel guilty often for natural urges, like sex. You cannot sin in the Church of the UO because there is no such thing.
However, people can and have done intentional harm, physically, emotionally and spiritually to others. Theft, rape, pedophilia, murder, etc., are wrong. So there are consequences. Doing purposeful harm to others and The All is not tolerated, but a person feeling remorse, regret and trying to make amends does lead to forgiveness.
If one of our members has done wrong to someone, whether a fellow member or not, it affects The All, and therefore affects everyone. That person's energy gets dark, lowers energy saturation, maybe lowering intensity which affects not only your Pure You, the Pure You's of those you are feeding, but The All as well, which means it affects everyone negatively or weakly.
But there is a way to get forgiveness. The first step is the one who did something wrong to confess it. Then make amends, if that is needed, improve the behavior, and then forgive. Now, in all actuality, this is something that is done every day. But to cleanse the Pure You and the resulting energies from the person who did wrong, a Ritual is performed at a Saturday Mass in front of that person's peers. Of course, how to cleanse depends on what was done wrong, and the consensus of the people involved and the people attending the Mass.
This may sound involved and complicated, but honestly, this is basic common sense. If one does wrong, that person must truly be sorry, make amends, improve themselves and ask for forgiveness. However, since the person is aware of their Pure You and their energy and how it affects everyone, this should be done. More can be explained by other members and the Owner of your Sect.
