"There is nothing better than being part of a mass. Everyone producing all that energy. No jealousy, no worries, just humans sharing pleasure. This is what we were meant to do."
Rituals and Masses
An example of each
By now, I'm sure you think what most people would at this point. Specifically, wondering what a ritual or a mass would involve.
Let's start with some terms you will need to know.
The first is "Key Bethel." Simply put, a Key Bethel is our version of a church. A building specifically for our sect to get together for masses and rituals. All Key Bethels have an arrangement of furniture that we call "The Circle." Key Bethels are not used for housing (though it is equipt so people may stay overnight after a mass if need be).
"The Circle" is an arrangement of furniture to reflect our symbol. The Circle set up is for masses or rituals with four or more people. (It can be used with three or less, but not necessary.)
The arrangement is as follows:
In the center, the Sphere of The All is usually placed on a pedestal on the floor or attached to the ceiling in a Key Bethel. Most members use a single dim light instead. The light can either be on the ground or a hanging light fixture.
Around (or under) the Sphere of The All or the light, some pillows are placed.
Surrounding the pillows a row of chairs (two at least) or a couch or some more pillows are arranged to form a diamond pattern.
At one corner of the diamond, an altar or a table is placed.
A circle is represented outside the diamond by placing candles or Christmas lights or a few tables.
The idea is to create a dimly lit, area that resembles our symbol as best as possible, with space to comfortably have sex and a table to place items.
Bare in mind that all rituals and masses (except for Tyro rituals and masses) involve sexual activity. Both require some unique items, prayers, and sometimes a particular way to dress.
Rituals are short. They usually last ten minutes in length. They can go longer, up to an hour, but that is rare. Rituals will have only four participants or less. Rituals are meant to produce or consume or feed energy to others quickly and often. There is a daily ritual, one to consume and produce energy another to feed it.
An example of a simple ritual is the "Hunger Ritual." This ritual can be part of one's daily ritual. It takes no more than ten minutes and is used to consume and hold energies to be released later. This ritual can be done alone, called the "Self Hunger Ritual," or with more than one person (up to four people) called "Shared Hunger Ritual."
A Mass is performed with five or more people. Masses are usually carried out at a Key Bethel. If there is no Key Bethel nearby, one can use their home (living room, bedroom, etc.) and arrange the furniture into The Circle. Masses take 30 minutes to an hour to perform. A mass may include one or more rituals. Masses require a particular way to dress.
An example of a Mass is the "Saturday Mass." The Saturday Mass occurs every first Saturday of the month. The members of a Sect get together to generate their monthly release to The All or people who may need aid. There is often a Cleansing Ritual and maybe other rituals if needed.
If you decide to join us, you will get the instructions to perform the basic daily rituals.
