Non-Hallowday Rituals and Masses

(This is not a complete list, but these are the ones you should know for now)

Saturday Mass (Every first Saturday of the month)

(Mass)

Every first Saturday of every month is our regular Mass. This mass will include a Cleansing Ritual and a First-Meet Ritual (if needed). General announcements and Sect meetings will sometimes be held here as well.

Daily Ritual

(Ritual)

Our daily devotion to The All.

First-Meet Ritual/Mass

(Ritual/Mass)

This is to introduce new initiates into the CotUO. Can be done either as a Ritual or a Mass.

Harmony Bonding Mass

(Mass)

Ceremony to create a Harmony (sometimes used for legal marriage)

Final Release Back to The All
(Ritual and/or Mass)

This is our way of holding a funeral

New Pure You Day

(Ritual and/or Mass)

New birth celebration

ReNew Pure You Day
(Ritual)

Birthday celebration

Pure 1 Passage and Choice

(Mass)

The passage from Initiant to Pure 1 stage. This Mass also allows an Initiate to choose their role in the CotUO, (Healer, Caretaker or Variant). This ceremony is performed if a person is changing their role (e.g. Healer to Votary)

Pure 2 or Pure 3 Passage

(Mass)

A ceremony pretty close to Pure 1 Passage and Choice, passing a person from Pure 1 to Pure 2 or Pure 2 to Pure 3.

Insight Naming

(Ritual)

Once you know your Insight name, a small Ritual is done to make it known to all in the CotUO and The All.

Tyro Shedding Ritual

(Ritual)

This ceremony is performed for a Tyro when they become legal consenting age, has gone through the trials and studies (again, we point out that none of the trials, studies and exercises do not involve sexual activities), and chooses to join us as an Initiate. This is often a small Ritual with very few participants. However, at least one Healer, Caretaker or Variant needs to be present.
